There will be a play reading at the Ellsworth Public Library on Thursday, June 4, at 6 pm. “The Last Right Address” by Sanford Phippen features “Cece” Bigelow, a reporter for the award-winning weekly newspaper The Downeast Investigator. In this one-act play, we meet a few natives and summer people interviewed by Cece who share their stories and opinions about Downeast Maine then and now. The reading will be held on the main floor of the library. A reception will precede the reading at 5 p.m. For more information, call the library at 667-6363.
