Poetry Slam is happening on Wed April 24 at 6 pm at the Bucksport Performing Arts Center. Students and other community members are invited to perform a favorite poem or two. Costumes and/or props are encouraged! Audience members will be able to vote on their favorite, and the winner will receive a $10 BookStacks gift card. A reception will follow to meet the poets. This event is being sponsored by the Bucksport Middle School Student Council. Admission is $2 for adults and free for students.
