MDI Hospital is offering a Safe Sitter class on Monday, Jan 20, from 9 to 2:45 pm in Bar Harbor. The one-day class is designed to teach students in grades 6 through 8 a variety of safety skills that they can put to use when they are home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. This class also teaches business skills, such as the ability to screen jobs, discuss fees and greet employers. The class fee is $50.
