Kids are invited to learn about animal tracks and scat through a scavenger hunt at the Blue Hill Public Library on Wednesday, Jan 24 at 3:30 pm. Julianne Taylor, education coordinator for Downeast Audubon and Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust, will teach kids how to identify the tracks, scat and other telltale signs of different local animals. Participants will venture through the library on the scavenger hunt using clues to help discover what animal has left a sign behind. This program is free, but advance registration is required.
