All volunteers are welcome to participate in a Schoodic Peninsula shoreline cleanup on Monday, Aug 8, from 9 to noon. Meet NPS staff at Frazer Point Picnic Area, just off the Schoodic Loop Road in Winter Harbor. Participants must wear sturdy shoes, long pants and a hat. Bug repellent and sunscreen are optional. Please bring your own full personal water bottle. A light snack and extra water will be provided by Schoodic Institute. If you have a favorite pair of gloves, please bring them with you. If you don’t, then Friends of Acadia will be happy to lend you a pair.
