Downeast Audubon is hosting a program called “The Science of Leaves” on Wed Oct 11 at 3:30 pm at the Blue Hill Public Library. The science behind fall foliage will be discussed with a mini science experiment and art project. Kids will examine the leaves of different deciduous tree species found in the forests and yards and take home a helpful identification guide to display at home.
