The April Meeting of the Searsport Historical Society will take place this Tuesday, April 11th, at 7 pm in Curtis Hall on Church Street in Searsport.  Guest speaker is SDHS graduate, Charlie Smith, from Stockton Springs.  His two topics cover individual stories about Civil War soldiers from Searsport.  Plus, results of his research on the financial effects of the war and how folks here at home survived during that time in our history.   This meeting is free and open to the public.
