The Friends in Action Senior Center will be hosting a Senior Resource Fair on Friday, March 27, from 9:00 – 3:00. The event is free and will be held in the new Senior Center. There will be demonstrations and displays of some of the programs being offered at the Center, such as sewing, fitness classes, art and more. The senior center is located at the Moore Community Center, 5 General Moore Way, Ellsworth, off State Street.
Local businesses, health care providers, and organizations serving the elderly will have exhibits and workshops. Topics will include housing, long-term care, transportation options, care in the home, healthy aging, nutrition resources, education, employment and volunteer opportunities, legal issues, and so much more.
