The YWCA MDI is offering a sewing workshop at 36 Mt. Desert St. in Bar Harbor on Saturday, Oct 3, from 9 to noon. Participants will use simple straight stitching to create pillowcases, spring florals, novelties, sophisticated designer prints, etc. This is a great class for beginnners and is enjoyable as well for intermediate and expert sewers.
