The Shaw Institute’s 2019 Speaker Series continues on Wed Aug 14 at 6 pm with “Dinosaur Wars: Extinction by Asteroid or Volcanism?” The speaker will be Gerta Keller, Ph.D., professor of paleontology and geology at Princeton University. There will be a 5:30 reception honoring the speaker before the presentation at 6. The talks in the series are free and open to the public. For more information, call 374-2135.
