Shoreline Cleanup in Winter Harbor

A Schoodic shoreline cleanup is scheduled for July 18 from 9 to noon. Participants are asked to meet at the Frazer Point Picnic area at 9 am for check-in and safety brief. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat and bug repellent if you need it and dress in comfortable layers. Friends of Acadia will provide gloves for those who do not have their own pair, water to refill personal water bottles and a light snack. Acadia National Park will provide safety vests, trash bags and further instruction. RSVP is not required. Please note that this event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
