The Downeast Salmon Federation is hosting a smelt fry for Saturday, April 16, as part of the “Alewives: Small Fish, Big Impact” series of community events on April 16 from 11 to 5 pm in Columbia Falls.  Learn about alewives and the critical economic, environmental, cultural and social roles they play in our lives in Downeast Maine. Activities will run throughout April and May 2016.
