The Surry Community Improvement Association will host a mid-winter soup, chowder and cookie event on Sunday, Feb 21, from 2 to 4 pm at Surry Elementary School. Up to 10 soups and chowders and a variety of cookies will be available to sample. You will be able to vote for your favorites in a number of categories. In addition to these items, bread and crackers along with tea, coffee and water will be provided. If you have a favorite soup, chowder or cookie you would like to enter in this event, call Doug (667-6312) or Dave (667-4260) for additional information.
