Sat May 9th Incredible Edible Milbridge group is hosting a workshop titled “Starting a Garden from Scratch” with Janis Lesbines. The workshop will be held at the IEM Market Garden located on the grounds of the Red Barn Motel, 5 North Main Street in Milbridge from 9 to 11am. You’ll learn how to choose a site, do a soil test, dig out the sod, prepare the garden site & add amendments to the soil to grow healthy, nutritious vegetables. Come dressed to garden. You’ll go home with a soil test kit for your own garden site. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. For info call 546-7677.
