A MDI summer tradition since the bicentennial of 1976, the 41st Annual Strawberry Festival will be held on July 12th from 1pm to 3pm at the Somesville Fire House. There will be family receipe strawberry shortcake, and a limited supply of fresh strawberries will be available for sale by the quart. Funds will support the Seal Cove Auto Museum and the Mount Desert Island Historical Society. There will be a brass era automobile on site to check out.
