Join Gregory Biss for his annual Harpsichord Hour presentation, which is part of the Sunday Afternoons at the Eastport Arts Center series. Biss is a musician and composer living in Eastport, and his presentation will include the performance and discussion of compositions by the noted 17th century German composer, Johann Jakob Froberger. A harpsichord is a instrument that was widely used in Renaissance and Baroque music. It is played by means of a keyboard, which produces sound by plucking a string when a key is pressed. The Sunday Afternoons series accepts admission by donation, and light refreshments are always provided.
