The Surry Historical Society will present a one-hour course in town lore on Monday Oct 21 at 7 pm at the Old Surry Village School at the corner of Toddy Pond Road and Route 172 in Surry. Class is free, informal and open to all. Refreshments will be served.
The topic is:
• Oct. 21 – Centennial 1903; schools and churches; wharfs and shipyards; Surry Theater; Arbutus Grange.
