Surry Road Clean-up

On Saturday, May 6, the Surry Community Improvement Association will sponsor a Surry Road clean-up day. The event is designed to collect and dispose of all of the roadside trash that has accumulated over the winter. People are asked to meet at the Surry Elementary school on North Bend Road at 9 am so that clean-up areas can be assigned. The activity is scheduled to go from 9 to noon and will be followed by a light lunch of hot dogs, chips and drinks at the school. Kids as well as parents are encouraged to participate.
