The Black House at Woodlawn opens for its 87th season on Sunday, May 1, at 1 pm. Visitors can enjoy self-guided audio tours of this Federal style home with all its original furnishings and art. Admission is $10 for adults and $3 for children. The public park is open year-round, dawn to dusk, free of charge. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Woodlawn Museum, Gardens & Park, 19 Black House Drive in Ellsworth, is open May and October Tuesday-Sunday 1-4 p.m. and June-September Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-4 p.m. For details, visit www.woodlawnmuseum.org.
