The Grand is hosting “The Easter Rising: An Irish Remembrance” on Saturday, March 12, at 7 pm. “The Easter Rising of 1916” will be among the historic events highlighted at this fundraiser for The Grand. Rebel music will be performed by the Acadia School of Traditional Music and Arts along with actual movie footage of the aftermath of the rebellion. Jasper’s Restaurant will also offer a selection of Irish beers for sale. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (12 and under). For more information, call 667-9500 or visit www.grandonline.org.
