As part of the Southwest Harbor Public Library’s One Park – One Read program for the Acadia National Park Centennial, retired Acadia National Park Superintendent, Paul Haertel and Park Lead Education Ranger Michael Marion will discuss Acadia’s night sky and the beauty, history and science addressed in the book The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in an Age of Artificial Light by Paul Bogard.
