The Hay Pond Rounders will be making their public debut and CD release at the Schoodic Arts for All Last Friday Coffee House on Friday, Dec 18, at 7 pm at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor.
The band is a loose affiliation of pickers and fiddlers, singers and squeezers, kids, dogs and reprobates, who come together each fall to make music in The Great North Woods. The group prides itself on tight harmonies, tasteful and sometimes rowdy melodies running the full gamut of cajun, bluegrass and folk, with a healthy dose of tear-jerking country weepers and rock ‘n’ roll.
