The Bar Harbor Garden Club and VFW are holding a Veterans Day ceremony at the Blue Star Memorial Marker at 1 pm on Friday, Nov 11. The ceremony will include the placing of a wreath to honor the nation’s military men and women. The marker is located along Route 3 in Bar Harbor, one-third of a mile from the head of Mount Desert Island. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
