Volunteers Needed at Branch Lake Public Forest

In celebration of National Trails Day, the City of Ellsworth and Frenchman Bay conservancy are teaming up to host a trail stewardship day at Branch Lake Public Forest. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, June 6, form 9 to noon to help clean up trails from fallen trees, pruning trail edges and marking trails. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools, bug spray, work gloves and drinking water. Advance notice of participation is appreciated by emailing [email protected] or by calling 669-6608. Rain date is June 13.
