Currently the Washington Hancock Community Agency (WHCA) staff is accepting calls to schedule fuel assistance (LIHEAP) appointments for the Ellsworth, Milbridge, Machias and Calais offices. To schedule appointments, call the Ellsworth office at 664-2424 or the Machias office at 546-7544. Phone lines will be open from 7:30 to 4 Monday through Friday, except for holidays that WHCA is closed.  Clients also may call the WHCA toll free number, (800) 828-7544, Monday through Friday from 8 to noon.
