Eight local nonprofits will host the second annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Sat Aug 17. This free outdoor film festival in Knowlton Park in Ellsworth will feature award-winning films that tell stories of people connecting with natural landscapes, conserving wild places, and creating a positive future for the next generation. Films begin at 8 pm, but come an hour early to stake out a place to sit, grab food and drinks and talk to local organizations.
