On Wed Oct 10 at 6 pm, residents are encouraged to join Southwest Harbor Fire Chief Tommy Chisholm for a presentation and discussion on how to prepare your home for wildfire — seven ways residents can reduce the risk of their homes and property becoming fuel for a wildland fire. This program will be held at the Southwest Harbor Public Library. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. This event is free and all are welcome.
