The Schoodic Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 51st Annual Winter Harbor Lobster Festival on Saturday, August 8. Start the morning off with a blueberry pancake breakfast at the Masonic Hall from 6 to 10 am in Winter Harbor. The 5K George Schaeffer Memorial Road Race in Birch Harbor starts at 8, with registration at 7. Other events include a craft fair in the school gym from 9 to 4:30 pm, lobster boat races in Henry Cove at 10 am, a lobster dinner from 11 to 3 pm and a parade on Main Street at 5:30 pm.
