The Schoodic Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 52nd Annual Winter Harbor Lobster Festival on Saturday, Aug 13. Start the morning off with a blueberry pancake breakfast at the Masonic Hall from 6-10 am in Winter Harbor. Events begin at 7 with registration for The 5K George Schaeffer Memorial Road Race in Birch Harbor. The race starts at 8. Other events include a craft fair at 9 am at the school gym, lobster boat races in Henry Cove at 10 am, a lobster dinner from 11 to 3 pm and a parade on Main Street at 5:30 pm.
