The town of Winter Harbor is sponsoring the 55th Annual Winter Harbor Lobster Festival on Saturday, Aug 10. All are welcome to come and enjoy the activities planned throughout the day for local residents and visitors.
Start the morning off with a blueberry pancake breakfast at the Masonic Hall from 6-10 am in Winter Harbor. That will be followed by a craft fair at the school gym from 9 to 4:30 pm.
Lobster boat races will take place at Henry Cove at 10 am and a lobster dinner will be held from 11 to 3 pm. A parade on Main Street in Winter Harbor will start at 5:30 pm. There will be a variety of other foods available, such as coffee, muffins, sandwiches, French fries, cotton candy, kettle corn, nachos and sno-cones.
