Winter Outdoor Fun in Machias

A winter outdoor fun day is planned from 10 to 2 pm on Sat Feb 29 in Middle River Park and the Machias Bay Chamber of Commerce train station, weather permitting. Snow is needed for all the outdoor activities so Sat Mar 7 has been set as a snow date. New this year are cardboard sled races on the Elephant’s Trunk hill in Middle River Park at noon. Only cardboard, duct tape and paint can be used for construction. Register your “sled” by calling 255.4402.
