The Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers are back at The Grand with their holiday hilarity and the great curmudgeon character The Grinch on Friday, Dec 2, at 6 pm and on Saturday, Dec 3, at 1 pm. The Tremont Congregational Church, 171 Tremont Road in Bass Harbor, is hosting a Christmas fair on Saturday, Dec 3, from 8 to 1 pm. There will be baked goods, crafts, a white elephant, a Chinese auction and muffins and coffee.  For more information, call 244-7876.  

The Penobscot School PTF presents Pancakes With Santa on Saturday, Dec 3, from 8-10 am at the Penobscot Community School. Bring your own camera for a photo with Santa. The cost is $5 for adults, $3.50 for children and $15 for a family of four.

The 45th Annual Down East Community Hospital Auxiliary Holiday Fair is on Saturday December 3rd from 9am to 2 pm at the Rose Gaffney School Gym on Court Street in Machias. There will be over 50 crafters displaying their creations for sale. Door prize, raffles and lunch available

The 33rd Annual Bay School Winter Faire will be held on Saturday, Dec 3, from 10 to 4 pm in the school’s Emlen Hall In Blue Hill. There will be children’s crafts, music, delicious homemade foods, local shopping direct from artists and generous silent auction offerings.
