The Franklin Library is holding their annual Strawberry Festival on Thursday July 6th at 1:00 PM at the library, located at 13 Main St. in Franklin. The festival will feature Strawberry Shortcake $5 ($2.50 for kids), a Food Sale, Book Sale, White Elephant Table and Basket Raffle. For further information, call the library at 565-5054.

Bill Leavenworth will have a talk “Maine Coastal Fisheries" at the Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport on Thursday, July 6 at 7 pm. Admission for this talk is $5 for Penobscot Marine Museum members and $8 for nonmembers. For more information, call 548-0334.

Live music by Old Grey Goose International is happening on Thursday, July 6 at 7 pm at the Southwest Harbor American Legion Hall. Old Grey Goose International plays old-time dance tunes on a variety of acoustic instruments. This event is sponsored by Village Green Arts.

The Henry D. Moore Library in Steuben will host a program titled “Maine Migrants Build America” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6. The program will be presented by Bob Sirois, a retired science teacher with a longstanding passion for Maine history. For more information, call the library at 546-7301.
