The Tremont Congregational Church is hosting its annual Christmas fair on Saturday, Dec 2, from 8 to noon. The event will include a bake sale, crafts, white elephant, quilt raffle and silent auction.  The church is located at 171 Tremont Road in Bass Harbor.  

A craft and yard sale is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 2, from 8 to 2 pm at the Sorrento Sullivan Recreation Center. Tables are one for $20 or two for $30. For more information or to reserve a table, call 479-5335.

The First Congregational Church of Ellsworth, located at 2 Church St will hold their annual Christmas Fair Sat Dec 2nd from 8AM to 1PM. There will be: Crafts, Books, Puzzles, Attic Treasures, & Baked Goods plus a Tea Room will be open from 9am-1pm.  

There will be two book sales at the Blue Hill Public Library in December. They take place Sat Dec 2nd & Sat the 16th, from 9AM to 2PM on both days. The sales will feature many new and like-new books, CDs, and DVDs for gift giving to children and adults.

The Ellsworth High School Show Choir and Theatre Department will present a “Princess Tea” from 2-3:30 pm on Saturday, Dec 2, at the high school. The town of Sullivan’s annual Christmas tree lighting is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 2, from 4-5 pm at Sumner Park. There will be Christmas caroling around the fire, hot cocoa and cookies plus a visit from Santa Claus, who will arrive on a fire truck. The rain date for the event is Dec. 3.

The holiday party at Cherryfield Academy will be held Sat Dec 2nd from 6-9. There will be live music by the Crown Vics refreshments, dancing and family fun. For ticket info call 483-1192. Proceeds benefit the CherryfieldAcademy    

The Frye Mountain Band will provide the music for a public dance at the Surry Grange Hall on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.
