Ellsworth Public Library is hosting an Online Summertime Auction August 7th through the 20th.   The auction features fun experience packages, gift baskets and handmade items from local artisans.  For more info, go to the Ellsworth Library's website and Facebook page.

The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department is holding a blueberry pancake and French toast breakfast Saturday morning (8/7) from 6-10 a.m. at the Trenton Fire Station on the Oak Point Road. It’s $6 per person for blueberry or plain pancakes, French toast, sausage and bacon. Proceeds help purchase rescue equipment.

A yard sale fundraiser for the Bar Harbor Civil Air Patrol Squadron is happening on Sat Aug 7 from 7 to 3 pm at the Colony Cottages, 20 State Route 3 in Hulls Cove.  Used furniture from the cottages, which are being renovated, will be for sale.  For more information, contact Lt. The Union Congregational Church of Hancock is holding a community yard sale, church fair and silent auction on Saturday (8/7) from 8 to 2 at the church on Route 1. Furniture, antiques, jewelry, plants and more... along with baked goods and a snack bar serving lunch. Rain date is Saturday 8/14.

The Lamoine Baptist Church annual summer fair will be happening Saturday (8/7) from 9 to 1, right at the church. Baked goods, craft tables, and yard sale items... and lunch will be available. The church is located on the Lamoine Beach Road.

The Prospect Harbor United Methodist Church is hosting a baked bean supper, Saturday (8/7) from 4-6 p.m. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, sides, and dessert for an adult price of $10. Kids 5 to 12 eat for $5, and children under 5 eat for free.
