The volunteer, nonprofit group Waldo County Woodshed distributes FREE one quarter cord piles of firewood for short term heating assistance during the winter months. Wood's available on a first come, first served basis with wood yards available in Searsmont, Waldo, Monroe, Frankfort, Searsport, Belfast, Thorndike and Brooks.
