Ellsworth Historical Society Meeting
The Ellsworth Historical Society invites all to their attend their Annual Meeting on Monday, May 9th, 7pm in the lower level of the Ellsworth Public Library. They'll be displaying and discussing just discovered photography of William H. Titus, Ellsworth American owner, editor and publisher from 1913 to 1945. (His work was recently identified within an unlabeled envelope in the Old Jail.)

The Ellsworth Public Library joins the City of Ellsworth and the Ellsworth Area Chamber ofCommerce to host an Ellsworth Open House on the library’s lawn on Wednesday (5/11) from4-6 pm. This Saturday, May 14th, the Searsport United Methodist Church is holding its monthly Take Out Turkey Dinners! Pick up dinners from 4 to 6 at the church on Main Street. Cost is $10 per meal which is a full *Thanksgiving Style* turkey dinner, complete with homemade pies! All meals are "to go," with no reservations necessary.

The Everybody Eats! Free Community Meal program is now offering brown bag take outlunches every Friday from Noon - 2 PM at St. Dunstan's Church on State Street in Ellsworththrough June 24th. The program will continue to provide hot entrée takeout on Mondays from2:30 to 4:00.
