There will be a March book sale on Saturday March 26th. The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library will be offering: Maine themed books, Gardening books, select adult fiction & non-fiction and youth books, price is by donation. The sale will be in the Riverview Room starting at 9AM and ending at 1PM. Ellsworth Public Library, 20 State Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605 , 207-667-6363. A to-go dinner to benefit the people of Ukraine will take place Saturday (3/26) at the Somesville Union Meeting House. On the menu: lasagna, salad, and dessert. Pick up yours between 4:30 and 7 pm. Cost is by donation, with all proceeds going to United Help Ukraine.

Lincoln Comedy Festival
The town of Lincoln's Comedy Festival is on Fri April 1 from 6:30 - 9 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Tickets are $15 at the town office and $20 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $8 & $10. Featured is Paul Hunt, Ian Stuart & James Theberge.

The Ark animal shelter is holding a bottle drive, bake sale, raffle and yard sale on Saturday, April 2, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Franklin Veterans Club. Proceeds will benefit The Ark’s new dog shelter. Construction is scheduled to begin on the shelter this spring.

The Grand Theatre in Ellsworth is now registering for Summer Camp outdoors at the WoodlawnMuseum. Students in grades 2 through 9 will spend two weeks rehearsing for a performance of“Into the Woods, Jr.”.
