All are welcome at “The Joys of Thrift” to share ideas on how to cut costs, increase savings, repurpose, live simply and make living below your means a joyful way of life. Everyone’s invited to the Hancock County Relay for Life Masquerade Ball, Friday, February 11th from 6 to 9 pm at the Ellsworth Elks Lodge. Mardi Gras masks and fancy attire are encouraged, but not required, for this family-friendly event. The evening includes a spaghetti dinner, music and dancing, photos, and a dessert raffle/auction. Admission is $15 per couple or $25 per family.

Come to the Jonesboro Grange on Saturday, February 12th from 10 to 2 and walk through their Chocolate Candy-Land! Fill up a box with homemade sweets for yourself or your sweetheart for a minimum donation of five-dollars. All proceeds benefit the ongoing renovation of the Jonesboro Grange Hall.
