Santa’s Magic Mailbox is coming to the Ellsworth Public Library again this year! Write a letter addressed to Santa Claus, the North Pole, and drop it in the special mailbox on the library’s lawn, beginning Monday, November 29th. No postage necessary, but be sure to include your full name and mailing address, so Santa can send a personal reply! Letters will be picked up through December 17th.

Passes to Acadia National Park
Beginning Dec 1st, year-end discounted Acadia National Park passes are on sale once again at the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce office. These are on a first-come, first-serve basis, with 1,000 passes available. Cash or check only at the Chamber Office, 151 High Street, Monday through Friday from 9 to 4:30.

The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center presents the Second Annual Festival of Lights, every Friday and Saturday evening in December, with the exception of Christmas weekend. The woods and gardens come to life at their Commerce Park location in Ellsworth Falls. Admission is free, donations are appreciated, and reservations should be made by calling the Center at 664-0339.

The Senior Class of Searsport District High School is holding a fundraising "Festival of Trees" Sat. Dec 4th 8am-7pm and Sun. Dec 5th 9am-4pm in the high school cafetorium. There will be food, whole pies and cheesecakes for sale, trees and a kids craft table. All proceeds benefit the Class of '22's cap and gown fund and Senior Class Trip.
