Holiday Decorating Contest in Machias
The Town of Machias is holding its fourth annual “Deck the Falls” Holiday Decorating Contest! There are two categories, with three prizes in each – Business and Residential. If you’d like your display judged as part of the contest, be sure to call the Machias Town Office. Entry deadline is December 10th, and there’s no fee to enter. Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Franklin Library is holding a fundraising Pie Sale on Tuesday November 23rd from 4 to 7. It will be held at the library, located at 12 Main Street in Franklin. A variety of homemade pies will be sold for $20 each and come in covered reusable containers.
