Benefit Yard Sale in South Blue Hill
Central Hall’s Ladies Public Improvement Society is holding its last yard sale of the year on Saturday, Sept. 25, and Sunday, Sept. 26, at 306 Falls Bridge Road in South Blue Hill. Sale hours are 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m.-noon on Sunday. Shop for $1 a bag on Sunday. Proceeds benefit hall maintenance and community outreach.

The Great Auto Race of 1908 will be brought to life at the Seal Cove Auto Museum Thursday night (9/26). Jeff Mahl tells the story, with pictures, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Online Auction for The Gatherings
There is online auction to benefit The Gatherings Community Center in Surry. Dozens of items up for grabs, including a sunset cruise, stays at a Luxury Yurt and Under Canvas, a one-hour massage, drawing classes, gift certificates for many local businesses, fresh lobsters and oysters, and lots more.
