The SPCA of Hancock County is holding a three day Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale outside the shelter on Route 3 in Trenton from 9 to 2 daily, Saturday through Monday, September 4th, 5th and 6th. It’ll be held rain or shine, as all yard sale items are displayed under tents. All proceeds go to directly to the care of all the SPCA’s resident cats and dogs. Orland River Day returns this year on Saturday, September 11. Among the festivities are a 9:30 parade, food and craft vendors, music from Bee Parks and the Hornets at 11 o’clock, and a special ceremony to honor the heroes of 9/11. The festival is free and open to all.
