Tim Sample Performance in Bucksport – Cancelled
The Bucksport Area Senior Center is sponsoring a Tim Sample Performance at the Bucksport Performing Arts Center on Sat Aug 21 at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Bucksport Town Office, Bookstacks on Main Street in Bucksport, the Bucksport Area Senior Center, or at the night of the performance if there are any left. The tickets are $10.00. NOTE: This event has been cancelled.

Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust on Sun Aug 22 for a sunset and full moon hike up Blue Hill Mountain. Participants are invited to meet at the base of the big field between 7-7:30pm and hike up to the top of the field, or to the top of the Hayes Trail, and watch the moon rise over Acadia National Park and Blue Hill Bay at approximately 8pm. Chester Bunker told us Mike Clark’s “Turn & Burn” is happening on Fri & Sat Aug 27 & 28. Meet at Jerry’s Hardware in Bucksport at 11 am with registration beginning at 9:30 am. The 21st Annual Beth C. Wright Walk for Life is happening this Saturday (8/28) at the Addison Town Hall and the Tuscan Lodge. Check-in starts at 7:30 am for the one, two, or five-mile walk. New this year is a 5K road race, games, and a craft fair... along with the traditional events like the awards luncheon, pie auction, and entertainment.
