Bake Sale in Winter Harbor
The Acadian Community Woman's Club, is hosting its second bake sale of the summer on Saturday, Aug 7th from 8 till sell out. They'll be set up in the parking lot of the Winter Harbor IGA on Main St in Winter Harbor. Proceeds benefit the club's scholarship fun which annually awards three, $1000 scholarships to residents of Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor.

This Saturday (8/7), the Ashville Community Church invites you to the Sullivan Community Bazaar. The event kicks off at 8am with a pancake breakfast at the rec center and a huge multifamily yard sale. Barbecue starts at noon; live music gets going at 12:30. There will be face painting, a petting zoo, and six live bands at the gazebo. Proceeds go toward the church’s steeple repair and to the Sullivan Fire Department.

The Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield is holding a “Meow Luau” kitten adoption event this coming Saturday the 7th from 10 to 1 at the shelter. The Prospect Harbor United Methodist Church is hosting a baked bean supper, Saturday (8/7) from 4-6 p.m. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, sides, and dessert for an adult price of $10. Kids 5 to 12 eat for $5, and children under 5 eat for free.
