The City of Ellsworth is participating with the Hancock County Planning Commission's "Hancock County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day." It takes place Saturday, August 28th from 9 to 1 at Ellsworth High School. Permits for Ellsworth residents only are available at City Hall and will be required to participate.  For a list of accepted items for this event, go to:Ellsworth maine - dot - gov.
