On Tues Aug 10 at 3 pm, join in for an informational and hands-on Micro-plastic Dilemma event partnered with Heather Richards from the Shaw Institute to explore micro-plastic impacts and research. Meet at the Blue Hill Heritage Trust’s Carter Nature Preserve western entrance. Kits will be provided for you to discover plastic reducing methods on your own. The First Congregational Church of Cherryfield will hold a takeout Roast Beef Dinner on Wednesday (8/11) at 5:30 pm. The meal includes all the fixins and blueberry pie for dessert. Dinners are $10 each and will be sold until all 150 of them are gone. No advance ticket sales, no reservations. First come, first served!

The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are holding an August book sale, Thursday August 12th, 4PM-7PM, Friday August 13th, 9AM-4PM and Saturday August 14th, 9AM-1PM. Please come prepared to follow all library requirements to enter the building. At this time the library is requiring mandatory face coverings to enter the building.
