Don Clark Memorial Toy Run in Ellsworth
The Don Clark Memorial Toy Run is happening on Sat July 3. Kickstands up at the Mill Mall in Ellsworth. The destination is Junction Music Park in Brownville. Free entry with a new unwrapped toy to be donated to the Greater Bangor Area Toys for Tots.

The P.E.O. Pie Sale takes place on Sat July 3rd at Reny's in Ellsworth from 9 to noon or while supplies last. Call Kathleen Salkaln at 570-3539 by June 28th to pre-order. Pie prices are $20 to $25. Pre-ordered pies must be picked up by 10:30 am.

After postponing last year's Searsport 175th Birthday celebration, the party is now ON in Searsport! The Birthday Parade is taking place on Saturday, July 3rd and YOU'RE invited to be IN the parade! The Searsport 175th Committee, in conjunction with the Searsport 175th Birthday Celebration, presents ART SHOW 175! The public is invited to view all works of art on display at Mermaid Plaza, 1 East Main Street (formerly Jordan’s Restaurant) in Searsport. Gallery hours are noon to 4 on Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 4th. There is no charge to enter the art gallery.

The Brooklin Independence Day parade happens on Monday, July 5th, beginning at 10 am, and stepping off from the old Odd Fellows Hall. And to warm up the crowd, the Brooklin Town Band starts up the music at 9:15 in front of the Friend Memorial Library.
