Stockton Harbor Days
Stockton Harbor Days is taking place Friday and Saturday, July 23rd and 24th. Sponsored by the Stockton Springs Community Builders, Friday the 23rd there’ll be a free street dance from 7 to 10 with music dj’d by the *Treblemakers.* Saturday, the 24th from 11 to 3 at Stockton Springs Harbor, there'll be free sailing, kayaking, and kids’ lobster boat rides. Wreaths Across America wants to see you in their Stem-to-Stone Remembrance Run, Saturday morning, July 24th. There’ll be a Kids’ 1-mile fun run... a 5k... a 10k... and a virtual run. The race starts at Balsam Valley Chapel in Columbia Falls, and to register, go online to RunSignup.com.

Schoodic Arts for All presents another "Concert in the Park," this Friday, July 30th starting at 4pm at the Gouldsboro Town Park. Performing is the fun foursome - "Dirge City Pie Company" singing harmonies and playing banjos, mandolin, accordion, guitar and fiddle! Suggested donation is $15. In case of rain, the performance will take place at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor. (And it's suggested that you bring your own pie!)

This Friday (7/30) will be the last Friday of the month, and that means that the Winter Harbor Masonic Lodge will be hosting its spaghetti dinner. The public is invited, and the pasta is served up between 5 and 6:30.

The Hancock Woman's Club is holding a fundraiser bazaar on Sat July 31 from 8 to 1 pm at the Hancock Community Center, 1416 US 1 in Hancock village. Baked goods, crafts and household items will be on sale. Proceeds go to the HWC scholarship fund and the upkeep of the Hancock Community Center. The Southwest Harbor Public Library’s Last Chance Book Sale happens this Saturday and Sunday (7/31-8/1) from 9 to 4 at the American Legion Hall on Village Green Way. The Seaside Grange of Corea is holding its annual rummage and bake sale this Saturday morning (7/31) from 9 to noon. Baked goods, furniture, artwork, antiques, toys, and plants and more will be for sale at multiple locations on the Crowley Island Road. Proceeds help the Grange and local charities.
