“Welcome Table” in Ellsworth
The First Congregational Church of Ellsworth is serving free “Welcome Table” carry out meals each Wednesday in March from 2:30 to 4. This is totally takeout service, so to reserve your meal, you’re asked to phone the church on Wednesday by 3pm at 667-8321. These meals are free; however, donations are gratefully accepted.

The Bar Harbor Garden Club’s March program, “How to Love Your Enemy: The Upside of Weeds,” will be held online on Thursday, March 11, at 1:30 pm. This program, originally held at Birch Bay Village, will now be held via Zoom and is open to the public. The Kindness Programs of Searsport are holding a free, traditional St Paddy's Day take out meal on Wednesday March 17th from 4:30 to 6. Your corned beef, cabbage, potato and veggie meals are picked up outside of Curtis Hall on Church Street in Searsport. (Oh, and Guinness cake for dessert!)
